Recipe Tuesday

Today I would like to share a recipe for Granola with you. 

8 cups rolled oats
1 1/3 cups shredded or flaked coconut
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup oil
1/2 teaspoon salt (if desired)
1 tsp vanilla (or 2)
1 tsp cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together in a large microwavable bowl. 
Microwave on high for 4 minutes then stir. 
Microwave 4 more minutes and stir. 
Microwave 3 1/2 minutes and stir. 
Stir as it cools or it will be in big chunks.

Hope that you enjoy your granola. 
It gets me thinking that I need to make some 
as it has been a long time since I had some.
